The Celtics Schedule is Out: Here are the Important Noteable Games

The long-awaited release of the entire 2019-20 NBA schedule is finally over as the league just released the full schedules just over an hour ago. Now let’s look at the most notable and important games for the Celtics in 2019-20.

Opening Night: October 23 @ Philidelphia 76ers

The rivalry is renewed as Al Horford will face off against the Celtics for the first time.

Home Opener: October 25 vs Toronto Raptors

The defending champs come to Boston but without Kawhi Lenord this season.

November 1 vs NY Knicks

Marcus Morris Sr. returns to the TD Garden for the first time with the number 3 overall pick R.J. Barrett.

November 7 @ Charlotte Hornets

Kemba Walker makes his return to Charlotte for the first time since joining the Celtics.

November 13 vs Washington Wizards

Isaiah Thomas visits the TD Garden with Bradley Beal.

November 15 @ Golden State Warriors

The Celtics visit the new-look Warriors in their new home in San Franciso.

November 27 vs Brooklyn Nets

The new-look Nets bring Kyrie back to the Garden for the first time since leaving the Celtics. (Forcast for the day calls for raining boos on the court).

December 12 vs Philadelphia 76ers

Al Horford returns to the Garden for the first time.

December 22 vs Charlotte Hornets

Scary Terry returns to Boston for the first time.

Christmas Day vs Toronto Raptors

The first game of the Christmas Day slate starting at high noon.

January 11 vs New Orleans Pelicans

Zion Williamson and the new-look Pelicans pay their first visit to the TD Garden.

January 18 vs Phoneix Suns 

Aron Baynes returns to Boston for the first time.

January 20 vs LA Lakers

The Lakers and Lebron reignite the legendary rivalry for the first time this season.

January 22 vs Memphis Grizzlies

Rookie sensation and number 2 overall pick Ja Morant pays his first visit to Boston.

January 30 vs Golden State Warriors 

The defending western conference champs come to Boston for the first time post KD era.

February 13 vs LA Clippers

The Kawhi, PG, Doc River and the rest of the Clippers pay their first trip to Boston.

Febrary 26 @ Utah Jazz

Gordon Hayward returns back to Utah as the Celtics take on the revamped Jazz.

February 29 vs Rockets

Russ and Harden come to Boston for the first time this season on a leap year day.

March 27 vs Portland Trail Blazers

Dame and C.J. visit Boston for the first time this season after coming off a western conference finals appearance last season.

Season Finally: April 15 vs Bulls 

Both the last home game and regular-season game of the season for the Celtics.
